On Thursday, September 10th, Supernatural fans managed to do the following within the span of a few hours:

-Break the Twitterverse
-Dominate said Twitterverse
-Freak out a rapper upon said domination
-Engage in an impromptu religious battle with said rapper
-Spark controversy
-Declare war on aforementioned rapper

If you're a Supernatural fan--or follow any on Twitter--there's a good chance that you either helped in this take over or watched it go down, marveling/chuckling/shaking your head at those "crazy Supernatural fans."

I was among the ranks of those Tweeting this past Thursday (and apologies to any non-SPN-watching followers who had to put up with it) and the fan-based effort was just incredible. The "take over" was covered by several websites:

Over the weekend, I went to see a hypnotist show. I posted on Twitter about it and got a few replies saying that I should've volunteered. Eh...no.  Yeah, I really enjoyed it and it was flipping hilarious, but I don't think I'd ever volunteer. At least not any time soon. Don't think I'd be able to give up that much control, I guess. *is paranoid*
